Building Your Business While Building Your Relationship With God
Entrepreneurship is hard - but we don't have to do it alone or depend on our own strength. I've been a full-time entrepreneur since I was 26 years old, and one thing that I know for sure is that my success over the past 10 years is exclusively because of my relationship with God. Learning about Him, falling in love with Him, and following His instructions have been the pillars of my business plan. Sometimes we think that our ideas for our business are just crazy, unrealistic thoughts. But what I've learned is that they are often instructions from God, showing us the path to get to where He wants us to be.
Of course, my journey wasn't always so faithful. At first, I thought my disdain for working for someone else was just the independent woman in me. However, as I grew in my faith and leaned into my dependency on God for all things in life, especially my business, I realized that my desire for entrepreneurship was a seed that God planted in me. I chose to water it with faith rather than kill it with fear. Outside of my decision to give my life to Christ, deciding to start my business was the best decision that I have made in my life. I've been able to help thousands of people through my three businesses, write a book that is used at two universities, create multiple online courses, and more - none of which would have been possible without Him.
And you know what else...I'm tired of seeing entrepreneurs struggle. It doesn't have to be that way! But when I tell people the key to overcoming the struggle, they don't believe me. So I'm just going to share what I know through this platform with whoever wants to listen. I know you will be blessed because starting this platform was one of God's instructions to me - so of course, I have to do it, and I'm honored.
